Join us for an incredible day trip to a Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary. Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up between 8:00 – 8:30 AM. As we depart, you'll be treated to a scenic 1½-hour drive through a picturesque rural landscape, featuring mountain rivers, rice fields, cornfields, and banana plantations.  Upon arrival at the Elephant Sanctuary, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome and an informative briefing about the sanctuary's mission. You'll also have the opportunity to change into traditional northern clothing, immersing yourself in the local culture.  

The highlight of your day will undoubtedly be the time spent with the majestic elephants. You'll get to know these gentle giants as you feed them and interact with them in their natural habitat. Our experienced guides will share their history and insights into their behavior, making this a truly educational experience.  

Next, embark on a scenic walk with the elephants to the river. Here, you'll have sip harvested herbal tea from the village, all while observing the elephants in their natural habitat. Please note that we prioritize the elephants' well-being, and if the weather is too cold and the elephants prefer not to enter the river, we respect their choice. Participate in a health check for the elephants, gaining valuable insights into their overall well-being.  

After a heartwarming and educational day, you'll enjoy a delicious local meal. This is a perfect opportunity to savor authentic Thai flavors in the serene beauty of the jungle. As the day concludes, it's time to bid farewell to the elephants and leave the sanctuary. Your return journey to Chiang Mai will take approximately 1½ hours.
