Full description

   Enjoy a full-day tour to the Lake Phuket Elephant Sanctuary in a small-group tour that is limited to just 10 people to ensure you get as much interaction with the elephants as possible. Start the tour with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Phuket. Take a 1-hour scenic drive, arriving at the sanctuary by around 8 AM. Meet your English-speaking guide, enjoy some snacks and learn about the history and behavior of rescued elephants.  
  Then, trek into the jungle with your guide where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviors. At 11 AM, stop to enjoy a delicious spread of home-cooked Thai food for lunch.  
  After lunch, head back into the jungle to feed the animals their dietary supplements. Learn more deeply about each elephant and what it takes to keep them healthy and happy. Once you have met all the elephants, accompany them to a nearby mud spa. Get muddy with the elephants as you apply a healthy mud treatment to their skin. Then, walk with the elephants to a nearby river and join them for a refreshing bath. Take a swim and help bathe and brush the elephants while they play in the water.  

   At about 4 PM, take some final photos with the elephants before it is time to part ways and change into some dry clothes. Finally, eat some snacks and seasonal fresh fruits and head back to your hotel.
