You will argue about directions. Someone will announce a theory with enormous confidence and be completely wrong. Someone else will spot the thing the rest of you walked past three times. The story keeps opening up just when you think you have it pinned, and the city keeps turning out to be more interesting than the version of it you thought you knew.
