Inclusions

  • Private airport pick-up and drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
  • 2 nights of hotel accommodation (1 night before the trek, 1 night after the trek)
  • All Kilimanjaro National Park entry, camping, and rescue permits for the duration of the climb

  • Single room supplement at the hotel (if traveling alone and wanting a private room)
  • Souvenirs and optional tips for hotel staff or drivers

  • What to Bring: Heavy down jacket, thermal base layers (tops and bottoms), waterproof hiking jacket and pants, sturdy broken-in hiking boots, a -10°C rated sleeping bag, and a 30L daypack with a rain cover.
  • Nice to Have: High-SPF sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, lip balm with SPF, trekking poles to save your knees on the punishingly steep descent down the Mweka trail on Day 5, a headlamp with extra batteries for the midnight summit push, energy gels or favorite candy snacks for a quick boost, and plenty of wet wipes for quick camp refreshes since this route features rugged wilderness camping.
