This experience is designed for those who seek a perfect balance between healthy activity, breathtaking nature, and refined gourmet pleasures.

  • Active & Healthy Living: Begin your days with invigorating options like kayaking in Hout Bay, refreshing coastal walks in Hermanus, and exploring the vast landscapes with an optional horseback or quad bike safari.

  • Gourmet & Cultural Highlights: Savor a Gourmet Picnic overlooking the ocean, enjoy a curated wine tasting in historic Stellenbosch, and conclude the adventure with a dazzling Cape Malay Celebration Dinner featuring traditional drumming.

Important Notes for Guests

1. Pace and Physical Comfort

This journey includes gentle walking, scenic drives, and time outdoors. Most activities are not strenuous, but you should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and stairs. If you prefer to skip or shorten an activity on any day, that is always possible. The programme can adjust to energy levels.

2. Weather and Clothing

September in the Cape can shift between warm sun and cool wind. Layering is essential. Bring a light rain jacket, a warm fleece or light coat, and comfortable walking shoes. Evenings in the Karoo can be cold.

3. Safari Expectations

The Karoo reserve offers meaningful wildlife viewing in a quiet landscape. It is not comparable to the density of sightings in Kruger National Park. The experience focuses on space, silence, and African big5 animal atmosphere, rather than chasing animals. This creates a calmer and more respectful encounter with wildlife.

4. Meals and Diet

Breakfasts are included in Cape Town. All meals are included during the safari days. Other meals are open, so guests can choose according to personal taste. If you have dietary requirements, please inform us in advance. We take these seriously and will arrange suitable alternatives.

5. Optional Activities

Some experiences are optional and are charged separately during booking confirmation. They are offered to allow different levels of adventure. There is no expectation that all guests participate in every activity. You can simply enjoy the space and the surroundings.

6. Group Atmosphere

This journey works best when guests respect pace, timing, and one another’s presence. We keep group sizes small so that the experience remains personal and attentive.

7. Connectivity and Support

Each guest receives a local SIM card with data. The vehicles have wifi and complimentary bottled water. A shared WhatsApp group is used for coordination and support throughout the journey.

8. Payments and Reservations

A 50% deposit confirms your place. The balance is due before travel 90 days. Prices may adjust slightly until final confirmation, depending on season and availability if you book lately.

What do I need to bring?

The September weather in Cape Town is the transition from winter to spring, offering mild, sunny days but potentially cool evenings and mornings, especially on the coast and in the Karoo. Layering is key!
