Description

Experience an authentic Arctic adventure in Sodankylä, Lapland with a visit to a small and private husky farm. During this 1 hour 30-minute experience, you will meet friendly Arctic huskies, pet the dogs, and learn about their daily life, training, and role as sled dogs in the northern wilderness.

Enjoy a short 10-minute husky safari through beautiful Lapland nature. Depending on snow conditions, the safari is operated with a traditional sled in winter or a wheeled wagon when there is no snow, ensuring a safe experience year-round. If conditions allow, one adult per sled may drive (mush), while others relax and enjoy the ride. In some cases, our guide will operate the sled or wagon for safety.

Each sled typically accommodates two adults and children. Please note that children under 18 are generally not allowed to drive, and children under 4 years cannot participate due to safety reasons. Family seating arrangements are decided on-site. Small children sit on the adult’s lap. If the

children are too tall, we may divide the family: one adult in another sledge with another customer.

At the end of the experience, each participant receives a personalized SISU Certificate, celebrating the Finnish spirit of resilience, courage, and Arctic adventure.
