Experience a private reindeer safari tour from Levi. Discover Lapland’s Arctic wilderness, meet friendly reindeer, and enjoy an unforgettable Finnish adventure.
Delve deep into the wilds of Lapland on this 2-hour reindeer safari from Levi. Climb into your sled with a guide, then charge off into the snowy forests as the reindeer takes the lead. During your 30-minute sled ride, admire panoramic views over the Lapland countryside and listen to the rhythmic sounds of the reindeers’ hooves on the snow. Warm up with a hot drink by the fire, then listen as a guide tells about reindeers’ role in traditional Lappish culture. This tour includes round-trip travel from Levi.
Experience the traditional side of Finnish Lapland on a private tour from Levi to a local reindeer farm. Meet the friendly reindeer, learn about their important role in Lapland culture, and discover how local herders care for these iconic Arctic animals. Witness the life of reindeer first-hand as they go about their daily work and relaxation at a traditional reindeer farm. Once ready, sit back in the sled and set off on a peaceful ride through the snowy landscape.
Choose between a 1 km or 2 km reindeer sleigh ride, surrounded by the calm beauty of Lapland’s Arctic nature. If the cold starts to bite, warm yourself around a cozy bonfire in a nearby hut while enjoying a cup of hot juice. The experience concludes in a traditional Lapp hut, where you will be symbolically “baptized” according to authentic Northern traditions.
