During the tour, you will stop near magnificent Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, see the black sand beach and the scenic basalt columnar wall stretching into the beach with splashing waves from the Atlantic. It is also possible to stop at the Lava Centre in Hvolsvöllur and enjoy the Icelandic Lava show in Vík. The Lava Centre is an interactive and high-tech educational exhibition depicting volcanic activity, earthquakes and the creation of Iceland over millions of years. The Icelandic Lava show recreates a volcano eruption, similar to what Eyjafjallajökull and Katla volcano are famous for, by pouring molten lava into a room full of people.
