The tour will start with a pick-up from your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk in the morning. Then, you’ll be driven to Pergamon, which is located about 1.5 hours away.
Once you arrive, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the ancient city and show you its most important landmarks, including the Altar of Zeus, the Theatre, the Library, the Temple of Athena, and the Gymnasium.
After exploring Pergamon, you’ll head to the nearby Asclepion, an ancient healing center dedicated to the god of medicine, Asclepius. Here, you’ll learn about the site’s history and see the remains of the medical facilities, including the Roman baths, the temple of Asclepius, and the underground passageways.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk.
