Gamla Stan You will explore by walking. It is one of the most beautiful and famous places in the Swedish capital. Here in 1252 Stockholm was founded. The old town is famous for its picturesque cobbled narrow streets, old houses and monuments, full of the medieval spirit.
City Hall is a building that houses many activities. First and foremost, it is a political office building and in the Council Hall, the Stockholm City Council meets every third Monday. The Blue Hall and the Golden Hall are given to companies, universities and organisations for banquets, parties and ceremonies. Among these events are the Nobel Banquet, which since 1930 is held in the City Hall on December 10 every year.
