Description

We will visit the U.S. capital on a full tour to Washington, D.C., touring the nation’s most important monuments. We will leave Manhattan with a guide in Spanish, crossing New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland until we reach Virginia. Our first stop will be Arlington National Cemetery, where John F. Kennedy and historical figures rest. Then we will visit the Iwo Jima Memorial and arrive at the National Mall to see the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Korea Memorial and the reflective pool next to the Washington Obelisk. We will continue to the Federal Reserve, the OAS, the International Red Cross and the White House at an outside stop. Then we will visit the Ford Theater, FBI headquarters and the southern part of the Capitol. You will have free time for lunch before returning to New York, ending in Times Square. Weather permitting, we’ll make a stop at the Weehawken viewpoint.
