Malta Harbours & Various Creeks & Gozo Tour

5-Day Malta & Gozo Tour with Highlights Included
5-Day Malta & Gozo Tour with Highlights Included

With two full-day and three half-day excursions , this immersive itinerary has been carefully designed to give you a deep and enriching experience of the Maltese archipelago. From the baroque splendor of Valletta , the fortified capital city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the peaceful, pastoral landscapes of Gozo , this tour offers a perfect blend of history, culture, architecture, and natural beauty .

Each day is packed with unforgettable experiences. Begin your journey in Valletta , where you’ll stroll through centuries-old streets lined with stunning Baroque architecture, visit the awe-inspiring St. John’s Co-Cathedral , home to Caravaggio’s masterpiece, and enjoy panoramic views from the Upper Barrakka Gardens overlooking the Grand Harbour. A visit to the Malta Experience Audio-Visual Show will bring the islands’ rich and dramatic 7,000-year history to life through stunning visuals and compelling storytelling.

On the second day, travel back in time as you explore Mdina , Malta’s ancient walled city often referred to as the “Silent City.” Walk its narrow medieval streets, admire the grandeur of its palazzos, and visit the early Christian St. Cataldus Catacombs . The day continues with a visit to Dingli Cliffs , Malta’s highest point, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, followed by a relaxing stroll through the lush San Anton Botanical Gardens . You’ll also visit the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village , where local craftsmen demonstrate age-old traditions such as glassblowing and filigree work. The day ends with a stop at the Rotunda of Mosta , home to one of the largest unsupported domes in the world.

The third day takes you on a full-day adventure to Gozo , Malta’s quieter sister island. Cross the azure waters by ferry and discover Gozo’s unique charm. Visit the Ġgantija Temples , prehistoric wonders older than the pyramids of Egypt, explore the fortified Citadel in Victoria , and relax by the sea at Xlendi Bay . End the day with a visit to the dramatic Dwejra Bay , home to the famous Inland Sea , where you may opt for a boat trip through a natural tunnel carved by the sea.

Day four brings you to the Three Cities Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Senglea — historic fortified towns that played a crucial role during the Great Siege of Malta. Explore their cobbled streets and admire their impressive fortifications before enjoying a scenic boat ride through the harbor creeks on a traditional Frejgatina fishing boat. The day concludes with a visit to Gardjola Gardens , offering one of the best panoramic views of the Grand Harbour.

Finally, on the fifth day, experience the authentic side of Malta with a visit to the traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk , where you can browse the lively Sunday market and admire the colorful luzzu boats bobbing in the harbor. Continue to the Blue Grotto , a stunning sea cave complex best viewed from the water (optional boat trip available), and finish your tour with a guided walk through the peaceful village of Qrendi , offering a glimpse into traditional Maltese village life.
