Guided by a licensed Urasenke tea master, you'll take part in an authentic tea gathering using rare antique utensils—including tea bowls dating back 400 years—amid a quietly elegant atmosphere reserved entirely for your group.

Your experience begins with a dialogue with the tea master, who will gently introduce the philosophy behind Japanese tea ceremony, the meaning behind each gesture, and the cultural stories embedded in every tea utensil.

You will then be served thick tea (koicha) paired with a seasonal wagashi sweet, carefully prepared and presented by the tea master. This meditative moment invites you to immerse yourself in the beauty of form, silence, and seasonal harmony.

Next, you will prepare your own usucha (light tea) and enjoy it with higashi (dry sweets), deepening your understanding of Japanese hospitality through direct experience.
