Description

If your flight to Akureyri City is on Tuesday morning, this package is perfect for you and your loved ones! We’ll greet you at the airport with a warm welcome and take you straight to your accommodation (please remember to book your stay in advance). Once you’ve settled in, you’re free to explore the charming town at your own pace. In the evening, we’ll pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse and take you on an exciting northern lights adventure. If the lights don’t appear on your first night, don’t worry – we’ll take you out again for another chance to see this magical display. 

On the following day, enjoy a relaxing breakfast because our Winter Combo tour begins at 11am. We’ll visit the breathtaking Goðafoss Waterfall, the delightful Christmas House, and finish the day at the Forest Lagoon. Here, you can unwind and soak in the soothing waters while enjoying beautiful views of the fjord and Akureyri City. Afterward, we’ll return you to your accommodation. 

Day three starts at 9:30am with a whale watching trip led by Iceland’s oldest whale watching company. This family-friendly adventure lets you see these gentle giants up close. Afterward, you’ll meet some friendly locals, sample delicious Icelandic treats, and visit the country’s very first microbrewery to learn about and taste their unique beers. We’ll then take you back to your hotel for a restful evening. 

Day four is all about relaxation and fun. We’ll pick you up at 9am for a snowshoeing adventure that’s easy and enjoyable for everyone. The day ends with a special surprise that’s sure to bring smiles to your faces! 

On your final morning, we’ll make sure you get to the airport in plenty of time for your departure, leaving you with wonderful memories of your family’s adventure in the beautiful North of Iceland.
