Whether your flight to Akureyri City arrives on Tuesday or Saturday morning and you’re planning to stay for a whole week, this package is perfect for you and your family! 

We’ll greet you at the airport and provide a comfortable ride to your accommodation (please remember to book your stay in advance). Once you’ve settled in, take a relaxing stroll through the charming town of Akureyri. In the evening, we’ll pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse for an exciting northern lights adventure. If you don’t spot the magical lights on your first night, don’t worry – we’ll take everyone out again for another chance to see them! 

On the following day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we start our Winter Combo tour at 11am. This 4-5 hour journey includes a visit to the breathtaking Goðafoss Waterfall, a stop at the enchanting Christmas House, and a relaxing soak in the Forest Lagoon, where you can unwind and take in the beautiful views of the fjord and Akureyri. 

Day three begins at 9:30am with a whale watching tour led by Iceland’s oldest whale-watching company – a fun and educational experience for all ages! Afterward, you’ll get to meet some friendly locals and sample delicious Icelandic treats, followed by a visit to the country’s first microbrewery, where adults can learn about and taste local brews. Then, we’ll return you to your accommodation for a restful evening.

 Day four is all about fun and relaxation. We’ll pick you up at 9am for a snowshoeing adventure that’s easy and enjoyable for everyone. The tour ends with a delightful surprise that your family will love! 

On day five, you have a free day to explore Akureyri at your own pace. You can choose from a variety of extra tours and activities, or simply enjoy the town’s many attractions together. 

Day six starts at noon with a scenic drive along the Arctic Coastline to the picturesque fishing town of Siglufjordur. This 5-hour tour includes a fascinating visit to the Herring Museum, where you’ll learn about Iceland’s fishing heritage. Afterward, you’ll have time to wander the cozy village, visit a local bakery, or try some tasty fish and chips before we bring you back to your accommodation. 

On your final morning, we’ll pick you up and drive you to the airport in plenty of time for your departure. We hope you and your family will leave with wonderful memories of your time in the beautiful North of Iceland!
